What a week...

Amanda and I had a great time in Disney World. We saw all four theme parks, rode all the cool rides and enjoyed each others company. The details of our trip will come later with our developed film. As much fun as we had in Florida it was not all sunshine. We are sad to say, but while in Florida we received the news that my grandfather William Warner Heiner had passed away. Born in May 17, 1929 he quietly passed on March 19th. Married for 59 years he loved his wife Peggy and raised seven children. His many grandchildren and great grandchildren will remember him for his outrageous story telling, and his ability look inside himself and change for the better. He had just celebrated his 9th anniversary of sobriety and we could not be more proud of him. We will miss him but know that he is in a better place. We love you grandpa!

Spring Break...Disney World!

This time next week I will be experiencing my first day ever at a Disney park. I am so excited but overwhelmed. Will I have enough time to fully experience the ultimate Disney World adventure? Definitely hitting the Tower of Terror, Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and enjoying a safari at the Animal Kingdom, and who knows what else! I think I was promised a ride on the Jungle Book ride with my favorite father-in-law!

Any suggestions of what is totally worth standing in line for or sights that must not be missed!

Oh don't worry, Mickey Ears are first on the list of must haves!

Bear Hugs...

My dad gives the best hugs in the whole world! His big strong arms wrap around me tight and I feel as if I might suffocate. I can't even get my arms around because they are caught in between his. Squeezing me tight for several seconds, I want to push away and end the hug but I don't. I feel safe in his hugs. I feel like I will always be his little girl.

After all goodbyes are said and slobbery kisses from my youngest brother, I always go back for one more hug; stocking up for the next couple of months until I see my dad again.

Yep, my dad gives the best hugs ever!
